Where would you suggest is the best place meant for this tattoo idea?

   Girly tats on the back shoulder area are played out. It’d be better somewhere around your waist line, a bit to the side of your ribs near your waist, imo….

   but top back/shoulder blade would be the best go i guess….without a huge back piece the middle upper looks weird, and if you want to keep it concealed, even if you don’t…it’d just be awkward on your shoulder

   I think it would be pretty on your shoulder blade, if it will cover the majority of the blade. If it’s going to be smaller than that, then maybe your shoulder. Keep in mind the smaller the design, the less detail it will have. Good luck!

   I’m thinking the shoulder blade for something like that. It’s more intimate as sort of a part your personality that way. The middle of your back would be off completely. The shoulder I guess would be the next best but everybody gets tattoos on their shoulders(upper arm) now. Another different kind of place would be your hip…somethin to think about. good luck

   add on: lol wow! I see someone else mentioned the hip (waist) area too. Yeah I think that is cute on a girl. If you must have it on your upper body though then yea I guess shoulder blade or even the back of your neck.

   I think it would be cool if the flower was on the back of your hip and the bird sorta on the side… But from the three i would have to say shoulder blade

   Hi there,

   I agree, somewhere on your hips would look better, and would be a much better position for the tattoos flow.

   If you put the tattoo in the places you described in your question, it may look like the tattoo is on its own in the middle of nowhere.

   I love the idea for your tattoo, and it obviously means something special to you, so it is a good idea!

   I would suggest around your ribs, like right above your hip on the side of your body, it would add a nice curve/ line to your body…

   just my opinion… But if you’re deadset on one of those three previously mentioned, then i would have to say shoulder blade.
