I chose this becasue my grandmother who passed away loved to paint and was very good at it, and her favorite animal/creature as a hummingbird. Any and all answers are apprecaited, thanks.

How small a tattoo can I get on my wrist without the lines running together over time?

I want to get a very small hummingbird on the inside of my wrist. The whole purpose of it is for me to be able to see it often, not for show, that's why i want it on my wrist and small. It will be only the outline of a design I drew, and only in one color. I really only want it to be about one square inch, but I have been told there's no way I can get a tattoo that small if I want it to stay looking good. Is this true?
