The skin tone is slightly orange so it looks like you wear gloves when you tan unless you’re dark skinned. There are very visable seams. I wore these to a punk club and was sodomized with a drumstick.
Well, the product is fine, but my skin is a bit lighter than the sleeves themselves, so it looks like my arms got tattooed and burned. I wish they could let you choose sleeves for lighter skin tones.

If you are asking about sewing the length of sleeve, then you need to sew the elastic Before you sew in the edges. If you sew the edges, you won’t be able to sew the elastic to the ‘tubular’ sleeve.
Elastic thread is a good option especially for quick smocking, etc. Try it out on a piece of scrap fabric to gain confidence, then to the actual sleeve material.

I don't know what a Dragon tree is, but yellowing leaves usually are a sign of nutritional deficiency; maybe nitrogen or also maybe iron. I would try a balanced fertilizer with trace elements. Any garden store can recommend one for you. Follow the label instructions.
To further confuse you, some plants will yellow and loose leaves just from having their circumstances changed such as being repotted or being moved to another location. This is a passing condition and does not need to be treated. Skin back a small section of bark along one of the upper branches that has lost its leaves. If the layer underneath is green, and/or also if the outer bark is showing tiny leaf buds, it probably will be Ok without you having to do anything.
